Wish I knew about this shop when I was in Edmonton a while back...definitely the kind of shop that I want to run someday. I would love a loyal customer base who searches the store out and finds some great hard to find products.

Canada is truly stepping it up in the streewear/fashion world. One of my favorite brands at the moments right now is actually wings + horns from Canada.



There's also Ransom Holding Co. of Toronto and there are probably some other brands I'm into right now that are based out of Canada that I just cannot remember right now.

INVS and their Mister line never ceases to amaze and motivate me and Rude Etiquette. Aside from the fact that I own every piece (except for the Oxford which I WILL be picking up tomorrow!) they successfully create pieces that are timeless and can enhance your outfit. Even when I wear just the henley I feel like it's enough. That is something I hope to strive for in the future when Rude gets into the cut & sew world. Each piece a classic and can stand on it's own. And to top it all off, the henley's and oxfords are made right here in SAN FRANCISCO and they keep them really affordable! Can't beat that! So, if you haven't given in to my continuous endorsement...PLEASE grab one of these pieces before they are gone forever! Go Getters

To commemorate the release of their Spring/Summer 2010 season “The War Within,” IMPRM and SwagSyndicate are holding a contest for all the Go Getters.

Send an e-mail with a short little blurb about your destination in life and how you want to get there. You can be a a skater trying to go pro to basket weaving it doesn’t matter. As long as you take pride in what you do and go get it.

The winner will receive a package of IMPRM tees and a custom colorway of the Go Getters pullover! so, IMPRM and Swag Syndicate are running a cool contest that pretty much awards those(the winner) who are following their dreams. I think it's a great thing that they want to shed light on people who are working hard to try and do something they have an incredible passion for.

I entered Rude Etiquette into this contest and we hope to win and share with the world how hard we are actually working to make Rude happen. IMPRM themselves are an ispiration for us; they're a brand that is getting bigger and better with each new season. (Check out their new Spring/Summer 2010 line and cop some of their pieces, Frankly Rude and I already have!) Absolutum Dominium

Our friends at Purist in San Jose are releasing their Spring/Summer 2010 tees line this Saturday and I must say they look AMAZING. This release also happens to be their inaugural release! I remember talking to Kevin (the owner) about whether or not they were going to get into their own in house brand and I'm very happy to see them get into the game!

There are 5 designs in 2 colorways and are modeled here in their lookbook by some well known people. You've got Tommy Giang of Stussy SF, Alyasha O'Werke Moore of a#, Benny Gold, Mega of Black Scale, and Kevin Lee himself of Purist! There is also going to be a 6th tee released in June to commemorate their 3 Year Anniversary, which is going to be in collabo with The Futura, so look out for that as well.

Each design/color is limited to ONLY 40 pieces! So please support Purist, they treat us like fam and they're only getting bigger and better! If you can make it, hit them up on the release this Saturday at their shop:

Winding Down...

With the school year winding down (at least for me) and summer just around the corner, we can now put much more focus on Rude Etiquette! We all apologize for the lack of movement in the Rude world; but, again, we are all juggling a lot at the moment.

I AM happy to report that Rude Etiquette has A LOT in the works and we've got a lot of ideas for some expansion outside of just t-shirts that can hopefully see the light of day before 2010 is over. We still have some products we want to get out before June (hopefully), but if not, we will be releasing stuff throughout the summer for all of you to rock in this beautiful California/Bay Area weather (and everywhere else for that matter), including an awesome 4th of July tee we're finalizing! We're also finalizing on some tank top designs along with some V-necks! And hopefully we can work on a sweater for those chilly summer days we tend to get sometimes here in the bay as well.

We're also in talks with some people about getting into the accessories/jewelry game, so get excited! As it stands, we're looking at ALL U.S. made material and pretty much ALL locally done! We'll keep you guys posted and hopefully we'll have some stuff out soon!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FRANKLY RUDE!!

It's slightly belated...but HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO FRANKLY RUDE! Unfortunately, the Rudes were not able to be together for Frankly's celebration at Manor West, but I'm sure he took a few drinks for us ;). He's the oldest of the Rudes :P at 24! Please wish him a happy birthday if you haven't already! Hopefully next year we can turn our birthdays into events!!

So here's to Frank and his many talents and our future endeavors together!

PS: We have been unable to really focus on Rude Etiquette lately because we've all been REALLY busy; Frank's got 2 jobs (3 if you count Rude), I've got work and finals going on, and Ali's got to balance work and school as well. So, we haven't been able to have a meeting and discuss much lately. But, we are very determined to get something out before June and we have some very exciting projects in the works, so please check back and get excited!!
